Sometimes happiness comes on its own
And other times you have to make it ahead of time
And take it with you
Because the everyday can be mundane

1. Talking to someone who feels all locked up inside and during our time, seeing their perspective change to see a way out. I describe this as the ‘being in a house with all the doors and windows nailed shut’ mindset. Watching the doors fly open in someone makes my heart leap.
2. a good makeup over. Be it a person’s appearance, their heart, or a just a room.
3. Watching my kids do something that they used to be afraid of.
4. A good musical performance.
5. A superb meal cooked with love or expertise. I’ll take either!
I love this idea of intentional happiness. My post today is all about the happiness I found with my son one day this week. Can’t wait to link up with you and Momalom next week.

I am all about the intentional happiness. Because those are usually the ones that are right there, staring back at us wondering why we aren’t looking back at them as we set our sights far ahead…
I echo my fellow bloggers. Intentional happiness – what a concept. We are so busy thinking about how to achieve happiness when we don’t really have to. There are so many examples everyday in all our lives. Just takes time to really savor it.
This idea of intentional happiness speaks to me on a deep level because I’m huge on choice. And if we make room for accidental happiness, then hey, anything else can probably be accomodated.
I love this! I have been trying to find instances of intentional happiness…Count me in!
It’s all about perspective and intention!
How cool is it that I got onto Facebook just now and saw that my old neighbor had posted a link to this blog entry as her status update!? I don’t know if she found you through my blog or on her own, but I loved it. What a beautiful entry, by the way.
Love this. Came across this through mothering mayhem. Love the idea. My whole blog is about finding the positive and the lessons we learn from every day. You might also like the Kindness club prompt I put up on Tuesdays.
Glad I came across your blog.
well done!
